I know this will sound funny to some of you, but J.B. Harold Murder Club is one of the titles–along with Monster Lair and Ys Book I & II–that prompted me to buy the TurboGrafx-CD attachment years ago.
The thing is, although I bought Monster Lair and Ys Book I & II alongside NEC’s pricey peripheral, I never bought J.B. Harold Murder Club.
Well, I’d like to rectify that error by picking up a copy soon. I don’t want to buy a copy of the North American version, though; I want to buy a copy of the Japanese version.
Why am I mentioning that here? Well, I can’t tell if the Japanese version of J.B. Harold Murder Club includes an English text option or not. If any of you would be able to give me a “yay” or “nay” in regards to that situation I’d greatly appreciate it.
Yes, you can play it with English text (and English voice, too).
Thank you, IvaNEC! I guess I’ll be ordering another game soon π

Right on, J.B. Harold is awesome. I hope you enjoy it. I’ve always really liked its plot.
I’ll definitely let you know (eventually) what I think about it, IvaNEC! I’m going to be going on a bit of a buying spree soon, and I think this game and Where in the World… will be a part of it π
Buying sprees rule. And so far I’d say you’re two for two with your choices. π
